Starting at 2 years through 14 years old, we believe that there are "Master Life Threads" that are taught to us through the Word of God. When taught in the church and the home, these "Master Life Threads" will develope our children into productive, mature adults that have come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ throughout their lives and in time, can pass these truths down to their children as well. Here are some of the opportunities available in our children's ministry at Victory:

Every Wednesday night from 6pm - 8pm, the children at VBC meet for Awana! This exciting children's program gives children a fun-filled atmosphere centerd around Biblical, Gospel Truth. Each Wednesday is seperated into three main parts. This is called "40, 40, 40." It includes 40 minutes of games, 40 minutes of scripture memory, and 40 minutes of Bible teaching from Bro. Joseph Eunice!

The Children's Ministry is busy on Sundays too! At 10:45 am - 12:00 pm we meet for Children's Church! This is an opportunity for kids to come together and worship or savior in their own "church service." Every time Children's Church meets, we incorporate great "hands-on" activities, singing, preaching, games, and even Bible-based puppet shows!!! When a child comes to Children's Church, we insure that they will have a great experince! From playing in our Children's Play Center, to hearing encouraging preaching, we do everything possible to give each child exactly what they need! Our goal is to grow children into the grown-ups God wants them to be.

 

Our Children's Ministry, along with Awana, reach out to the community as well. Our kids regularly visit nursing homes and hospitals singing and sharing the gospel! Also, every summer our children head off to camp! Gospel Light Baptist Camp serves as a great week-long camp to take our young people. Also during the summer, the Children's Ministry hosts an event known as "High Power Soccer." This gives them a chance to play fun games with eachother and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Finally, every October, we host the annual "Bible Fair." This serves as an excellent alternative to Halloween and/or trick-or-treating.
